It sounds like your provider is blocking it.

I'm having similar issues - have not been able to connect to it for a week or so. When I click the link provided by tablejockey, I get a message saying that it can't find the page.

This is the message I get -

Hmmm… can't reach this page

It looks like the webpage at https://www.whatsbestforum.com/ might be having issues, or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

I just connected to it with no issues using Mozilla (Firefox).

For the fun of it I'd try deleting all your browser history and cookies

Came up for me with my 10 year old Safari browser which a lot of sites are telling me to update. 

I have never had a problem linking to WBF.  I have it as one of my favorites.  It is a way better site than Audiogon if you want real audio information and it is much easier to converse with fellow audiophiles.

Maybe your wife has been using the parental controls.
