Gustard N18 Pro LHY FMC switches.

Curious if there are any Gustard N18 Pro users. I see some banter about their DAC's and also on the LHY products, so feedback on the LHY FMC would be appreciated.

Not familiar with the Gustard N18 switch. I own the X26 PRO, A26, U18 and C18. However for the switch I went with the LHY SW-10 for the following reasons. 1) It has a connection for a master clock and 2) it can take an optical isolation feed in and put it out as ethernet. Both of these important things I use. Not sure about the N18 options. Will take a look at it.

The N18 PRO looks to be a copy of the LHY SW-10. I would have probably gone for it if it was available when I purchased my LHY.

Just came across this thread on the Gustard N18 Pro switch- has anyone added this to their system?  Currently contemplating either a LHY SW 8 or SW 6.  The Gustard and the LHY SW8 are close in price.

Just picked up a LHY OCK-2 to pair with my Mutec MC3+USB and Teac 701t.   It is much nicer quality than I expected.  Synced perfectly with each.  Runs cold to the touch.  LHY feels like good stuff so far.

I think I may also pick up the SW-6.

I have the LHY SW-8 cascading into the N18, then into the N18 Pro. I had the LHY first and added the two Gustards later. I did notice an improvement when adding the N18's. The noise floor dropped and details became clearer and micro dynamics came through clearer.

I just ordered the SW-6 from the same Ali vendor I bought the OCK-2 from so hopefully it will arrive in a week or so.

@campo007 ...a bit confused with the cascading wording, what sounds better on its own? LHY? or N18 pro?

@deep_333 what i mean by cascading is, i input to the LHY from my router, then out to into the N18, then out into the N18 Pro. Then from out of the N18 Pro into my Audralic Ares S1.

Anyhow, i haven't listened to them separately. So unfortunately i can't answer your question.
