Getting paid

I am a first time seller on audiogon and have buyer for my equipment. He is going to pay me via paypal. Since you can not share contact info on audiogon, how do I provide my email address for him to pay me?

If you are a member here, Audiogon has the information he will need. If anything more is needed, don't worry, they'll ask for it.
The payment is done via the Audiogon system linked to Paypal you'll get a heads up via email when it's done.
@richardrisch  send me an email to support@audiogon.com, attention: Tammy and I'll help. FYI, you cannot take the transaction off site on a Pay later ad.
When you setup your seller profile you will see your payment options. If the seller made you an offer through Audiogon and you accept the offer (within the valid window) then the rest goes through Audiogon. If the buyer sent you an offer you missed, the offer expired, and then you contacted him via email to accept the offer, the best thing to do is have your buyer resend the offer, you accept, then let him pay through Agon/PayPal.
I sold a ProJect S2 DAC and Optical Cable through Audiogon and was paid right away.
Unless the buyer is using a stolen credit card, in which case PayPal has the option (you sign this right away in the agreement) to come back and debit your bank account later!!) {moderator: pls correct me here if I’m wrong}. _here we go again._ I think your best bet if using PayPal is to deal with long-time, high-feedback members only. In order to do this, do not use the "buy now" option. Instead, choose to pick those with whom you wish to do business using the "make an offer" option when listing. -Further, "Talk"/communicate with these people. Ask about their systems, compatibility. See if they speak "audiophile". Audiophiles love to speak about stereo. Truman
If you are able to exchange emails and complete this transaction on your own this would eliminate Audiogon's ability to get their cut.
