Enjoying New CD Transport Purchase

After hemming and hawing for a couple of months, I saw a sale on the Audiolab 6000CDT transport and jumped on it.  This replaced a 27 year old Pioneer CD changer.  I didn’t want to spend a lot on a dac and bought the Pro-Ject DAC Box S2+.   Just hooked them up today and am playing Joan Osborne’s “Relish” CD, which is one of my favorites.  Oh my gosh, the difference!  The music is powerful, clear, with crisp bass.  I have described other improvements as like having a veil lifted off the music and that is just how this sounds.  For those who don’t already have high quality CD equipment, I recommend this combination.  So good and for not much money — my favorite combination!
