Ed Martin: Marcof

Anyone know how to find Ed Martin of the old Marcof Electronics? I'm looking to have some Bedini amps I bought from him rebuilt. I saw on a post here that he sometimes still does this. I have not found anyone else locally (with a good reputation) that seems to know about these amps.

Sorry Eddie,  I just saw this.  Private message me. I still speak with Ed regularly. ,

I have a similar issue I would like to discuss with Ed Martin. If anyone could send me his contact info, I would greatly appreciate it.

Tim, thanks for the connection. I spoke to Ed last night. What a great conversation! And I completely agree with your comments above.

Hi Vinyfan62,
I've learned a lot from Ed too.  I've had some legends that know more that I do tell me face to face the same. I could name them, but don't want to embarrass Ed or them.  Ed has never gotten the recognition that he deserves. He knows audio design as well as anyone that I have ever met.
I was only at his house once in the 80s. Couldn't even tell you the neighborhood.  I used to go to the store frequently. I bought a lot of their stuff. But I learned a ton from Ed too and that was more valuable to me.
Ed is one of my dearest friends. I still speak with him once or twice a week.
If you ever knew where he lived 35 years ago,  he is still there.

Thanks all- I will contact Brooks in CA. Any details on contacting Will Vincent? Maybe he is closer to me in St. Louis.
Right you are tomic601. Tom Carione is the techs name, and he is in the store on Wednesdays and Saturdays. A few years before Brooks died he had an absolutely mint Bedini 25/25 in his museum. I wanted it pretty badly, but already had a working 25/25, so passed on it.
I believe the tech at Brooks Berdan in Monrovia, CA is quite familiar with and competent w Bedini
