DS Audio Ionizer for analog Playback

I do not have one but have a friend who does.  If you are having a problem it works.

I have the CSPort, similar device. Not only does it work perfect for removing static but it also sounds better. Subtle but noticeable.

Ionisers generate ozone in the process of generating charges - there are federal guidelines as to maximum ozone generation permitted.

Apart from potential health issues you have to also take into account increased ozone levels can accelerate corrosion of metals.

Cant wait to see those lovely gold plated SME RG3012 tonearms after a couple of years of ioniser use spewing out ozone in close proximity - should rival all that lovely gear sold after the tsunami a few years ago.

I have it.  It works.  I won’t play a record without it.  A must have.   

Awhile back I sold my Furutech ionizer brush and bought the CS Port static Eliminator and couldn't be happier. Yes a bit expensive but it works and nothing to do other than push a button before playing a record and after an evening of listening then just push the button to shut the unit off. Very simple.
