You are throwing your money away with Eversolo. The worst support in the biz. It's vital for a streamer company to be on point with FW and support. Literally throw away devices. Best to buy from a company like Innuos, Aurender, Aurailic... someone who's only effort is spent on streaming. You are buying not just hardware, you are buying into a platform and if that OEM platform sucks, your streaming experience will suck as well.

I don’t have an opinion on Eversolo specifically but my sense is on par with others here about customer service and dedication to helping buyers of the company’s products. I think the reason Bluesound has had success is not that they have the best sounding streamers, it’s because they sell affordable streamers that sound good, have a good set of features, an easy user interface and OS and they have good customer service. I have a Node X with the Teddy Pardo power supply running into a PS Audio Directstream DAC. It’s great sound and an easy interface for music. |
It’s inexcusable to me that a company has no customer service, and streamers are something where you may well need it at some point. I have an iFi Zen Stream, and although it sounds good I have an issue I can’t resolve and their customer service is likewise abysmal. Never again. Do yourself a favor and go with Innuos or Aurender. |
