D’Agostino Progression integrated

What are your thoughts on the Progression int? How does it compare to integrated amps like Gryphon Diablo 300, Vitus 101 mkII and and Pass int250?

This five-figure gear is just audio jewelry in bespoke casework. Amplifiers have been transparent to the source for a few decades now! I bet in a level-matched blind test my Sumo Andromeda would be indistinguishable from any of the above amps.

I’ll take that bet

@arafiq    +1  Sad when nostalgia and fear limit what is possible when regarding HEA.

Only if one is both deaf and a Luddite.
I bet life is great in a vintage echo chamber.

I like D'Agostino amps a lot.  Not sure I like them 10x more than Luxmans but I do.

What I've heard so far:

D'Agostino > Luxman > Pass

Sorry I haven't heard the others listed, but if Luxman is a possible audition you should try it.

I agree about the Pass int. I bought a Rowland Continuum S2 and love it. I have not heard the others.

I listened to int250, progression and Diablo300. With my Watt Puppy 8’s, the Gryphon gave me the most goosebumps; just sounded the most natural, “you’re there”, and the most dynamic ( macro and micro). It was incredibly close with the progression however. The int250 just didn’t do it for me; surprisingly bland and boring.
