Corded, Warm-Sounding Noise Canceling Headphones for Office

Would someone please recommend a warm-sounding, noise-canceling CORDED headphone for listening at my office that won't break the bank?

Will be driven by a Topping dac/amp. Main thing is noise cancellation to block out nearby conversations along with fatigue-less listening on the warmer side. Thank you!

Is corded the only option? Even then, if you like the Sennheiser sound, the Momentum 4 series can be used Bluetooth or wired with a USB C connector at the phone. I find them "warm" but then I suffer from significant high frequency loss.

You would also probably want to tame the low end as the bass is quite strong. Easily done with through the Sennheiser app.

Do you really need Noise Canceling?
Noise Canceling is great if your on an airplane,a bus,in a noisy restaurant etc..but I’ve never seen a normal office environment where NC was needed...A good pair of over the ear,SEALED BACK headphones should be all you need...
Based simply on my research, personal experience with Sennheiser & my experience with Topping Amp/Dacs,along with a tight budget requirement right here is where I would start...Get them from Amazon for $150.00 & use them for a few weeks..If they don't work out, send them back & repost with a firm budget..We'll try again...

Sony Noise (more than on model) and Koss QZ 900 are a couple. Generally not really high quality.

Interesting idea. I had, and upgraded a headphone system in my office (at work) for over a decade. I started with and iPod and ultimately worked up to a large dual component head amp, DAC and streamer. While swapping all the major top brands of headphones.

My approach was "audiophile". Typically I would use closed headphones to keep the noise out. But closed, are not comfortable over long periods of time. Noise cancellation works, but not with high quality sound. So, you have all sorts of great sounding wireless headphones like Bose Quiet Comfort, Sony and Sennheiser with noise cancelation. They have great sound... but not "high end sound"... a carefully crafted one to sound great but not count on silence so the high frequency is not truncated. I adopted these for travel and in noisy environments. I left the high end audio headphone system and open headphones for quiet environments.

So, I think that is the thing... there is stuff that sounds great in noisy environments, it is wireless (Bose gives you a wire in case the battery wears out). Then there are high quality headphones that typically do not  have noise cancellation.

If I had to do it again, I would use my Bose Quiet Comfort in the office. An leave my high end headphone system at home where it is now, for quiet mornings... like this moment when I am listening to them.
