I had the previous version, and I have not heard the new version, but the sound was not to my liking. Noisy is the only way I can describe it. It was paired with a Coda #8. Some people like the sound and call it tube-like or warm. It was not what I was looking for and I moved on.
Coda 07x Preamp latest version vs previous version
Hi, there aren’t many comments or reviews on the prior Coda 07x version vs their latest version. Think the latest version came out 2019 ish. I called Coda, great company, they said the latest version had a lower noise floor but the previous version already hade a very low noise floor. Outside of that difference, wasn’t much of a difference.
