Cartridges for Rega Tables

I have a Rega P10 (previous version) and am wondering if anyone makes a cartridge that is the exact same height top to stylus? Since Rega doesn’t offer adjustable VTA, I wondered if I could get a cartridge that doesn’t require shimming the tonearm. I know Rega offers a number of Cartridges, but I never have really cared for their sound signature. I am currently using a Lyra Kleos but thinking of making a change.

thank you

good luck, it sounds like you may need to experiment a little, but I am sure you will be satisfied once you hone in on the right height.
@Theo Hi Theo...I was reading one of your older posts about VTA on the RP10 to help push me to make this adjustment on my RP10.  I recently got a SoundSmith cartridge to replace a Benz.  The SS does everything better as-is and I can appreciate a slight upward angle to the tonearm.  I purchased the acoustic signature set from Audio Advice and am excited to install these with a hopeful simple loosening of the 3 screws from above.  I was always afraid to completely remove the tonearm.  I don't know the dimensions of the SS cartridge and am out of town for work but went ahead and got the 0.5-3.5 set as the large set was out of stock.  Thanks for sharing your experience.

This gives me some ideas on what to try. I appreciate the help and suggestions.
The Regas are 14 mm body height and I have no idea what they measure to the stylus tip but I imagine they would come in at + 1 or 2 mm more.
Hana are 16mm to the tip of the stylus.
Dynavector 17DX3 is 15.8mm and an excellent sounding cartridge.
LOMC Dynavectors appear to be between 15.9 mm and 18.1 mm in height depending on the model.
I am currently using the Kleos with 3.5mm spacers, Jonathan Carr had told me that his calculations for the Rega arm with Kleos should be 3.4mm and rather than have a shim special made I figured 1 tenth mm was close enough.

So if Rega carts are 14mm and the Hana are 15mm then I would need a 1 mm shim, which I do have. Are the Dynavectors 14mm or at some of their offerings?

As far as the 3 point I am not concerned, I can set the alignment. But this is giving me some options to investigate.
The Hana EH, EL SH, SL are all 15 mm high so they probably would not require shims on the Rega; of course, no 3 point mounting system and keep in mind that the L models require 400+  ohm loading.
OP if you are using a Lyra Kleos on a Rega arm without VTA spacers you are wasting it.
The Rega cartridges are 14mm from base to stylus tip.  Hana have some 16mm cartridges.
@racedoc

it doesn't  look like those Excalibur cartridges have the Rega three point mounting system or the 14mm height of Rega catridges.
What about them is Rega specific?
dynavectors are outstanding...  lower ones sound great, spend more $$ they get better and better

works exceptionally well with the aussie dyna p75 phono stage with the special 'enhancer' mode
Thank you both, I looked at the Excalibur site, but my German is a little off these days. Do you know if anyone in the US carries these? I had never heard of them before.
I’d never heard of those, will have to look into them.

The Dynavector 17Dx is the right for Rega.
