$40,000.00 with the stands for a tiny 2 way speaker? How does the reviewer think that this is a good value for the money? Even the similar sized Raidho Don’t cost that much! I am willing to bet there is 25-30K profit on these speaker. Definitely not for me, even if I could afford it.

Mission Cyrus 781 speakers.... 50 dollars used.... My actual sound is so good i smile.... I just create my last room enhancer invention at almost no cost.... "twin fans combing sound enhancer" Money dont afford Hi-Fi creativity does..... My post is just a message of hope for those who cannot spend 40,000 bucks.... Room treatment, the active way and the passive way, are more important most of the times than an upgrade of speakers.... Alas! most dont know that.... :) |

b_limo, I heard these speakers at RMAF last year. What got me in the room was the sight of speakers that small in a very large room. I thought the sound was excellent at first but it began to wear on me after a while. Apart from the fact that I'll never be able to afford them I don't think this sound is what I'd want to live with long-term. |

MahgisterI dont doubt that this pairing with my dreamed Berning Zotl is good and more than good, probably a killer with the Borresen... But MOST of the times, the acoustic active controls and passive room treatment are more impactful than the choice of speakers or of any other electronic parts.... There is exceptions, i said most of the times, especially true on low and mid-fi audio, anf often in hi-fi level as well.... In audio history some evolution of engineering design for recorded sound transmission seems to come first, but the acoustical conditions for the experience were always there and of the utmost importance, for example in the acoustical design of concert hall or church acoustical function or Greek and Roman theater... |
