Best Power Cable for Luxman D-08u SACD player.

What are your rest of the cables in your system?

There is no ‘best’ cable per se, you will get opinions here based on one’s personal experience and preferences. A good power cable should have no sonic signature, it should be transparent as much possible so you can hear the awesome Luxman player in its full glory.

I have had several systems built around Verastarr cables. Highly recommend them based upon my own experience, plus hearing them at many shows with many different types of associated equipment. Always seem to get great reviews.

Luxman's cables are supposed to be pretty good.  Based on an enthusiastic reccomendation,  I use Luxman's JPA-15000 power cable with my Marantz SA-10.

JPA 1500 is a great power cord, not your usual stock good, this same cord power Luxman Class A power amps also. So it can pass some serious current. I found recently the Audioquest Blizzard working very well with front-end gear and the Marantz SA-10. Good weight and body to the presentation and all front end gear, and ultra quiet. 

The stock power cord is your best bet. Power cords do virtually nothing to alter the sound unless the one you are replacing is defective.

Right. Black rubber power cords are the pinnacle of state of the art high end performance. That is why they ship standard with all components including the very finest cost no object amps. Every manufacturer from Panasonic to Pass knows this, and that is why they all ship the same quality power cord. There is none better at any price, and they all know it. If only more audiophiles were better informed. Your voice is shaft of golden light while all around is darkness.
