Backing up my playlist….

Hello all.
I have spent a few years now creating my playlists on Qobuz. I do not own the  songs but I’m wondering if there is still a way to back them up somehow in case something happens and they get deleted. Thanks for your thoughts.

happy listening !

There was a thread on here a few months back and the recommendation was tunemymusic.  I used it for my Tidal list backup.  Perhaps it will do yours as well.

It put the list into a comma delineated type list.   I can open it with my notes program on my PC.  I hope it helps.

Creating several versions of the same playlist is all you need. As a side note, even if you cancel / pause your subscription to Qobuz the playlists remain as long as you don’t delete your account.

As a side note I have inquired about buying my playlists but Qobuz says they don’t do that. Surprising as it seems that would be good income from people that weren’t sure about buying in the beginning but would like to now.

I am trying to back up all my playlists on Qobuz but I didn’t buy any of the songs to download on a computer at home. So I was wondering if there was a way to do it not owning the music.

I am confused, are you trying to save the list or the songs/files?

Encoding can be a b*tch, many years ago I had a Rhapsody subscription, I purchased songs, saved them, and when I ended my subscription, they no longer played.

Hi,

I had the same issue. After doing some research, I came across Soundiiz. It's inexpensive at $35.00/year, and I now have all 26 playlists with over a thousand tracks available as a backup if something goes wrong with Qobuz. And as I add and delete songs, it updates my playlists. I've tested it several times and it works great.

Good luck!

Well, I can access Quboz on my laptop, so perhaps I could do a screen print. Never tried it though.

If you own an Auralic unit all your playlists can be backed up to the iPad cloud. This is done directly in the Lightning App.

With my playlists that took a while to create, I created a second playlist named slightly different. Just in case...
