Bacch Dsp, True stereo?

The latest gimmick seems to be eliminating cross talk as a way to achieve true stereo.

Seems very expensive and works with any speaker.

Another layer of complexity.

Anyone have an opinion on this new fad? Seems a bit neurotic to me

My last post was before AXPONA in Chicago. Edward spoke and had a demo room. I had my dad, a trained pianist who has performed numerous 2.5 hour concerts playing all the greats, and my wife, professionally recorded and sang to pay for college in her youth, listen first. I’ve never seen such pure utter genuine surprise and delight. They both exclaimed out loud how real it sounded and had the biggest smiles I’ve seen on either of them in a very long time. All the musicians were exactly where they should be in space, the hall or studio it was recorded in was reproduced with absolute precision. Your brain literally can’t believe what you are hearing. They completely understood from that moment why this was the last defining piece of the system. I encourage you all to take a listen if you are so fortunate and perhaps can get questions answered and give constructive feedback about the web site. I would give them some grace, they are scientists not marketing people.

Thanks,

Audiophiles are busy upgrading...

They dont know yet that the only upgrade of value is the Choueiri BACCH system...

If we dont study acoustics we pay the price of ignorance...cool

I have heard it in my own home, and I own it. I have the $980 plug-in that I run with JRiver. Initially (with the very first plug-in...bought it for $399 the above is the current price)...I couldn't get it to work right. I waited for a few updates to come out and I reinstalled it. This was crazy!!! The behind your head instruments are not a joke - it does as advertised.  I want music to entertain me. I've worked with choirs  and I've had musicians in non traditional places due to size, this plug-in reminds me of sitting right in the middle of a circle of musicians and singers. What's even weireder - you can get over your head sounds too! I'm using Legacy Whispers with McIntosh amplification. I tell you I've owned the Carver C-9, the C-1 preamp, the Polk Audio SDA-SRS 2.3TL's, and a host of plug-ins. None of them compare to the BACCH....and that's just the plug-in!!!!

@wordalive

Sounds encouraging. Any chance you could post the details of your system and explain it sort of what's going on?
