ATC P1 Pro amp vs. Parasound JC-5 amp

I've considered that at some point I would upgrade from my ATC P1 Pro amp to a Parasound JC-5 amp. To me both of these are in the sweet spot of their price range. I can't imagine spending more in my 9 ft by 12 ft listening room. Just curious if anyone out there have heard both and would it be a worthy upgrade? Or perhaps you have suggestions of other amps in the $6,500 price range of the JC-5? (I'd likely purchase used for $4,000 give or take) Would that money be far better spent somewhere else in my system such as a speaker upgrade?

After giving it more thought I'm starting to think kota1 and urbie have the best suggestions. Room treatment and/or a bigger room. In my mid-60s now this will probably be the house I live in for the rest of my life. The only way I can get a bigger room is to combine my stereo room with home theater/living room. It's kind of nice to have a dedicated room for audio only but we can't always get what we want. Based on the equipment I'm using now (shown above) do you guys think this is as far as I should go in the 9 ft by 12 ft room? Thanks

Thanks for all the responses and I apologize for the delay in getting back with you. Besides the P150 pro amp I have the following in my system:

Violetric V281 preamp/headphone amp

Usher Dancer Mini-X DMD speakers on sound anchor stands

Gustard A22 dac with U18 DDC and a C18 master clock

Onkyo C-7000R CD player

Rega RP6 turntable / Onkyo P-3000R preamp for phono

Solid silver bi-wired speaker cables and interconnects

12" Jamo subwoofer

You might consider a Hegel H390. Class A/B, 250 watts into 8 ohms. It’s neutral to slightly warm sounding.

$6500

It’s what I currently have. 😁

I think the best thing you could do is get a bigger room man that's tiny.

OP, great question. I would spend time and money on room treatments and DSP, measure it to get it dialed in the way you want, before spending $ on anything else.
