Anyone near Bergen County NJ have a pair of Tekton speakers I could listen to?

Ideally Double Impact, but any model would do.  Thanks

Not really close to Bergen, but I believe I saw a pair of Tektons at Entertainment Technologies in Mt Kisco.

I am also in Betgen county and would like to hear the Tektons as well. Put me on the list. Also, am I to understand cthatcTektons have free returns with shipping both ways.

@jcs01  I don't have Tektons but am in Bergen County and would definitely want to join in a listening session if you find someone nearby.  I almost pulled the trigger on a pair for sale a couple of months ago but I think the Double Impacts are way too big for my basement listening space.

Round up a dozen or so people together, someone can order a pair. Organize the listening session and everyone attending chips in for the big return shipping bill.

You should order a pair and listen at home as suggested by the manufacturer of the speakers. You could invite Elliot to your house, so he can listen too. See below from their website:

Where can I audition the speakers?

Our current business model is strictly direct-to-consumer. While we do attend some audio shows that can provide a chance to hear our speakers in person, we firmly believe that the best way to listen is in your own space. We offer a 60-day risk-free trial so you can return the speakers if you are dissatisfied for any reason.

Only two reasons to be wearing one:

when you find some, I'd love to tag along, hear them, meet you ...

He is most likely referring to John Rutan of Audio Connection in Verona, not exactly Bergen but close enough.

Who is John and what does any of your rambling misspelled post have to do with the Tekton Double Impacts that the OP is asking about aardbear?

I must say ,you are on the right track with John . I have a trade in on the Vandersteen 5 A speakers rebuilt.  You should ask, John if they have a trade in's . You did listen to and heard the Quatro's are very impressive . But the 5A loaded my ears further , with the powered sub-woofers independently plugged in with a ten year battery life . The 5A I believe got replaced with the KENTO Carbon loud speakers list price at $ 41,700.00 a pair new !  But you should ask John if he has any  trade in's  or rebuilds !!!! At the shop ! that's the way I went with the 5A's tremendous load speakers with the powered sub-woofer for deep beautiful full sound.  Now Im not a very rich person searching for the holy grail but I came as close as I was able to. I could not afford the model Seven XTRM Extreme Excellence in the vandersteen at  $84,000.00 list price for a new pair ... but I am sure if you cut your  loses will come out of it with a double profit by selling what you have and getting a used pair of the next best vanersteen's loud speakers in your price range and that you will stop searching  for the next best holy grail in your real ear candy quest !  ..... I have not looked back or had any second thoughts at all..  Let John know next time  Tony from Long Island. N.Y. gave you some advise on your path to greater listening that you will not turn back or search for something else ever. I my opinion there is nothing better no matter what you spend but how you spend it ...
