Any thoughts on Osborne grand monument?

Good wood is heavy. That's what she said. When you add in poly or lacquer layers plus the weight of the drivers, bracing it really isn't surprising.

Great speakers, 32mm thick MDF and lead lined cabinets which makes them inert but extremely heavy (I would hate to think what it would cost to ship to the US).

Lead lining in the speaker seems a bit weird. Surely there are safer materials for inertness ?

Obviously not RoHS compliant! I wonder if there are xtra fees involved with that?
