Advice for a choice

Personally I’d choose a used Hegel H160 over either, but not knowing anything about your tastes and priorities are for sound reproduction and system performance it’s not possible to make an informed or even useful recommendation. 

Thank you for expressing your opinion. I also think the important thing is that the amplifier sounds good and performs well. I wish at least that it had DAC and Bluetooth. As for musical tastes, I listen mainly to classical music, American rock music from the 60s and 70s and finally I love Springsteen. I listen to this music on CD, mp3, flac and Spotify. I hope that with this additional information I can have more specific suggestions. Thank you

Since you have chosen the Marantz 8600 just go with the 8006 integrated amp. They are both excellent! No need to fret neurotically about amplifier choices! Most present day gear is so close sonically that it's a matter of "six of one versus a half-dozen of the other". Honestly!

I have the Marantz ND8006 CD/streamer and it plays beautifully. I also purchased the PM 8006 integrated amp and enjoyed it for a few months but I needed more juice for my Dynaudio Special 40s---not very efficient. So I have a separate tube preamp and amp and couldn't be happier. I'm not familiar with the Dali's so it may be enough. The PM8006 is a great piece.

I have a brand new Marantz pm8006 in the sealed unopened box for $949, saving you $250. Look at my items for sale. Bought as  back up to my pm14s1....but need to sell it. Both the nd8006 and pm8006 are EISA award winners. You can't go wrong with Marantz. Even their entry level amp the pm5005 has extensive positive reviews. I used to own the pm6005 and that thing was awesome.

dear @audioguy85  what you offer me is a really good deal. And if I lived near you, I would immediately run to you. But I live in Italy and I have to consider whether buying in the USA involves more risks than advantages. I refer to the warranty and product support, taxes, shipping costs. Either way yours is really a great price.
A curiosity: eventually at what price would you sell both pm8006 + nd8600?

Instead of a CD player, have you considered something like the Innous ZenMini MKIII?  I’ve never used a Marantz CD player so I can’t comment on their comparative sonic qualities.  The ZenMini does not have Bluetooth.

I ripped my CD collection to a Zenith MKII and haven’t looked back.  The SQ is much better than my McIntosh MCD player (which isn’t saying too much because it is 15 years old).  And I love the convenience of not having to load CDs anymore.  

Innous players get awesome reviews.  You might want to check them out. 

Be aware that after a merger with Denon, both Marantz and Denon were subsequently purchased by Sound United. I'm always concerned after mergers and acquisitions like these that cheaper components will be used by the new parent company to increase profits. If I were going to buy an integrated amp, I'd look no further than Yamaha. They are a private company, use high quality components, and have the best reliability ratings of any amp manufacturer. Marantz is still a fine brand. No compromise as yet in quality as part of Sound United. I have a cd6006 and it represents excellent value. While there are certainly better players, a 10x cost factor was not worth the small improvement. It interfaces extremely well with the other components in my system, but may not in another.

I was a Yamaha fan for both home and pro use for decades, but don't find much to get excited about these days in the components I have heard. YMMV

An HT amp has no place in a HiFi.

I would buy either a Parasound Integrated amplifier or a ARCAM.  I would also purchase a Bluesound Node 2i streamer.  Marantz is not an audiophile piece.  Marantz is in the league of low end Pioneer from a big box store.

Not so on Marantz. I've examined their schematics. They pay very close attention to important details.

Many of their products use op-amps made from discrete components designed for the purpose rather than generic OTS parts that require far too much feedback.

They also pay particular attention to power supplies. Instead of generic 7xxx regulators which have HORRIBLE impedance curves, they use well designed purpose built circuits.

IMO, Parasound and ARCAM are nice but over-rated. I found the Parasound [?model?] to vary a fair bit over temperature as the heatsink bias temperature coefficient was not well matched to the driver circuitry.

If you buy used, you won't have to worry about Sound United. If you are looking to stream your music, I would highly recommend the Marantz NA6006 Network Audio Player/DAC. I have the NA7004 which I found on US Audio Mart several years ago, and I would never go back to a tuner.
