A song of hope that I wrote.

I wrote this last weekend. Just felt a very strong urge to get this song out. The video is many old and current pic of my family. My father served as a marine in Korea, front line combat, second winter 51/52. Several pics of him in this. That’s me at the end playing the slide guitar.

“This song is a reminder of what we aspire to as Americans. It’s about my family. I’m proud to be an American. I am proud for what this country stands for and there’s no other country like it on this great earth. Stay well. God Bless.”

Your very well put together video is a reflection of our great people, one and all who built it and for what it stand's for.. At the same time it is a monument to your family's Love. Thank you for the pick-me-up that we can all appreciate in these times. It's good to see you!!
Beautiful. Bigly.
Someone with an "education" in "sociology" was asking how this will change things.
Next day, great example. MAGA.

Thanks all thanks all for your comments, Take care, stay well.

Brett so nice to hear from you. When this lockdown is over would be nice to visit
Hi jetrexpro,
Thank you for sharing your heartfelt video with the Audiogon community, very well done. I am  a veteran,  my late brother was a marine and my father and his 3 brothers all fought in WWII. MAGA didn't ruin anything for me. I know that you are in NYC and I'm glad that you are okay.
Charles
Hi Charles. So nice to hear from you. Your family and you did more than your fair share to make this country what it is. Thank you for that. We are all deeply grateful.   Know the toll my fathers service took on him. Did you serve in Vietnam?
Thank you for checking in on my wife and I.  We are locked down here in NYC.  Not going out for any reason at this point. Later in the week we will need to go out for groceries but that’s about it. Very serious stuff going on.

Charles, thanks and take great care.
Given that we have survived Audiophilia for this long proves we can survive this current situation! Good to see you Charles. Everyone keep in the Spirit!
Jetrexpro,
I served during  the aftermath of the Vietnam era (Mid 1970s). I know that if I had been a few years older it would have been a different story. Hello Brett (isochronism) I am glad to know you are doing good.
