Circle Labs A200 Integrated amplifier review - It will appeal to both tube and SS lovers……
Seems you guys are getting brand new units! Not easy to find a used one, I would say!How long of a break-in period would you suggest before confidently assessing the amp?I’m currently using Harbeth 30.1, but am considering upgrading (awaiting an au...
Circle Labs A200 Integrated amplifier review - It will appeal to both tube and SS lovers……
I should be receiving mine no later than next week. Bill's review catalyzed my initial interest, and I think that I've found and read all of the related Polish material.Interestingly, there is a GATO sub-forum on one of the Polish audio sites, and...
What comes after Harbeth 30.1s?
Yes, well, I’m sure that it is also possible to sleep comfortably in the back of an SUV. But most wouldn’t be comfortable attempting to do so, and I rather doubt that any but a tiny percentage of M40.x users would be comfortable using them as near...
Has anyone heard Fink Team KIM speakers?
Thanks @meadowman I am located in Europe.
What comes after Harbeth 30.1s?

What comes after Harbeth 30.1s?
@ryder In an effort to avoid hijacking the thread, I'll be brief, but you can PM me if you'd like to discuss the Marten in more detail.I did not listen to the other models that you mentioned, mainly because I spent ~three hours with the Parker, an...
Biggest "bang for the buck" audio gear you have owned(in your history)?
I'm going to echo a couple of previous posters and say the APT-Holman pre-amp.
What comes after Harbeth 30.1s?
Coincidentally, I am on the cusp of probably upgrading from my 30.1 speakers. To be clear, I do like them quite a bit, and they sound excellent in my system, but I will be moving to home with a larger (though not very big) listening space, and am ...
Is improvisational jazz to impressionism art as smooth jazz is to realism art?
Jazz is simply inferior to classical music. Jazz musicians don't know where the right notes are and "hunt" for them by trial and error, while classically trained musicians find them instantly. Just look at Jazz bassist or guitarist - they "walk"...
Still happily using vintage gear?
For a couple of years, not long ago, I used a re-capped Accuphase E-303x integrated amp, and it was thoroughly enjoyable.
Circle Labs A200 Integrated amplifier review - It will appeal to both tube and SS lovers……
This has me thinking more about my time with the A200. It is not the sort of amp that wows the listener in the first minutes of listening with sonic feats of strength. Some amps will do this initially, but over time other imperfections begin to re...

Thanks Bill!Presumably nothing meaningful is lost as a result of it not being a "true balanced" design, and it is a reflection of a particular design philosophy.

And another question: The A200 is apparently unbalanced, yet it does feature XLR inputs. What are the practical ramifications?
Circle Labs A200 Integrated amplifier review - It will appeal to both tube and SS lovers……
I noticed in the specs that the A200 has a damping factor of 500 for 8 ohms! That seems very high, and I wonder if members might comment on the practical implications.Cheers!

@grannyring I agree about the review. There is a very serious audiophile community in Poland, and it shines through in that piece.
