What is it that you don't like about your Listening Room ?
Dedicated room, dedicated line, acoustic treatment. No complaints. Been doing this since 1975, hands down best sounding system I've ever owned.@reubent , @rockadanny , room treatment. Had the same problems until acoustic treatment.Tom
Do classical CDs made from early analog tapes sound better on your system than new CDs?
@geoffkait , @bdp24 Excellent points regarding polarity. Often overlooked. Wish more pre-amps and integrateds came with polarity switches. Tom

Been aware of the cupped ears results for decades. Also had in mind to develop a product, but as geoffkait stated, it's a mixed bag of results. Yes, the sound is louder, but I've observed it also affects other aspects such as soundstage. Ultimatel...
My Home Speakers, My Car, and Me...The Ballad of What's Going Wrong?
My dedicated room is not much bigger and made me feel the same way until I installed room treatments on all walls including the ceiling, and covered most of the hardwood floor with a thick area rug. Cover all the first reflection points. Jim Smith...
New CDP or standalone DAC...?
@alexatpos , very interesting! This is actually my 2nd unit. The first one I returned due to an odd noise at turn-on coming from within the unit itself, not from the speakers. I was sent another new  one I'm currently using. Interestingly, through...

New CDP or standalone DAC...?
Wow, just read your second post. Like what I'm reading. Very interested in MQA. Will definitely look into that further...

@mesch, 57 here. With age comes wisdom!@2psyop, very good point. I subscribe to both TAS and 'phile and agree there is definite bias within those pages. I try to remind myself to remember they are written by humans, just like all of us on this for...
