Really satisfied???
Always wanting to change/upgrade a system over the past 40+ years until...last year finally made the effort to really take the time to position the speakers and listening seat, have a dedicated room with a dedicated AC line, and acoustic treatment...
Recordings with incredible effects or imaging that we may not know about
+ for Amused  To Death, especially the Blue-Ray version. Even better than the already good RB version.
Most satisfying system change in 2017?
Installed Primacoustic room treatment purchased from Sweetwater in my dedicated room. Biggest improvement in sound quality I’ve ever experienced in 40+ years in this hobby. Tom
Vandie .7 vs Maggie .7
You’ve mentioned your room. Most all our rooms have issues. After acoustic treatment in my dedicated room my system sounded considerably better than any other change I have done. Definitely consider budgeting for that.Tom

My wife and I attended a middle-school grandchild's band concert last night. Dynamics/tone/timbre. Especially dynamics. Amazing really. Reminded me how inadequate my system is in comparison. Reality check. Sigh...Tom
