Suggestions for phono preamp for LOMC's
Phono stage might be more important than TT/arm. If I had $10k in TT/Arm I would be looking at something like an Allnic H5500  or Sutherland Duo minimum. I would consider a $2500 phono stage a bottleneck.

Turntable suggestions for a newbie
I have an older VPI Prime and enjoy it. I think your other choices would do you well also. Your choice of phono stages bothers me as you would be sending the signal from a $3k TT (more with cart) through a $400 phono stage.  Maybe for the Mofi b...
Integrated Tube Amp approx. $2,500
If you only need an integrated for component switching and not a DAC or phono stage, I would go with a small builder like James Burgess.  Ask him to install a selector switch, shouldn't be  hard.  I just had a Burgess and it was a very very nice s...
Need to purchase a separate ground cable - from my TT to my Phono Preamp
Generic hardware store copper wire is fine.
Phono Preamp Selection
Yes, Hagerman Bugle MC is probably a good option also. I built 2 Bugle 3s kits and liked them.  About as good as the EAR clone. Lounge Audio I believe has a large lead time, like a couple of months.

Is the Hana SH being discontinued?
I think I read somewhere it's being replaced, a new and improved thing. I could be wrong.

Nice table!

Man I'm having trouble getting a grip on all these Chinese tube and the good reviews.  I'm an NOS kinda guy! My experience with Chi tubes was from back around 2000 and I never went back. Now you got PSvane, Linlai, etc all getting some love. I ...
SUT Demo - Atlanta
Probably hard to find one to borrow as I assume most are inline and in use. Maybe just purchase an inexpensive Denon or in my case I got a Fidelity Research FRT3 for the work rig.  IF you go used and decide to sell you won’t lose too much turning...
DH Labs - Shunyata Cable Comparison
Boy, I was just thinking of 'upgrading' from Q10s to Shunyata or Nordost etc. but I think you might have put a damper on that!. I do run Pro Studios also, but not the cryo; maybe I look into that!
Recommendations for a phono stage: Gold Note turntable w/ MC cartridge to ARi50.

Cartridge upgrade
I would worry more about the phono stage rather than the TT although arm does matter. With the Chinook you should be good to go!
