Stereophile review of the T-Amp
I wonder what would happen if I put one T-amp on one channel and one T-amp on the other? I was only thinking about it in terms of balancing the volume (my bed is not right in between the speakers) and possibly allowing me to hook up a small subwoo...

You people really take yourself too seriously. Seriously.
Stereophile review of the T-Amp
So when can we anticipate the long-awaited review of the T-Amp in Stereophile?
Stereophile review of the T-Amp
Of course people here have used the T-Amp!! It's all over the net, especially on TNT. My point was to remind those who might not have tried it to give it a spin. If you already have it, then you know what I mean.
Decent audio in terrible room?
Headphones are really the way to go, both acoustically and financially. If you go with loudspeakers, I might suggest a listen to the Von Schweikert VR-1s. To keep the peace in my household and to even get a stereo system in a small room, remodelle...
Speaker Cable-The Best of the Cheap?
I second the Canare 4S11.
best ? ss integrated for Dynaudio Contour 1.3SE
I love my Dynaudios but put a pair of Von Schweikert VR-1s in a smaller room just for 2 channel listening. I put a Creek 5350SE with them and love the sound. Used it is under a grand. I don't think it has a "sound" at all, the music just comes thr...
Pros and Cons of the Music Hall MMF-7
I cannot offer you a comparison. I have owned the MMF-7 with the Eroica cartridge for about 2 years. I have recently upgraded to the Graham Slee Era Gold V. I love this table. It has excellent isolation. I have verified that the speed is still acc...
Any GREAT "sleeper" amps?
Thanks, sugarbrie. a little humor goes a long way on this forum!
Dual or single subwoofers?
According to research by Harmon Kardon if you use two subs it is best to place them in the middle of two walls which are perpendicular to each other, rather than two corners. You will have to experiment.
Isolation for speakers on spikes
I'm with Warren. Dampening the resonances in speakers and transferring that energy to the floor (mine is concrete) has worked perfectly for my Dynaudios. When I have placed them up on stands (MDF) or removed the spikes, I lose definition and preci...
XM Radio - Anyone Getting It Through DirectTV?
I never bought a separate tuner for XM in the house since I get it on Directv. There is no comparison to real CD quality (redbook) due to compression and transmission quality. It is good enough for quieter listening in my bedroom, but not enough f...
HDCD a flash in the pan already??
My HDCD discs are incredibly detailed and spacious. The cost of incorporating the technology was prohibitive for some record companies and artists. My Classe player is great and even greater with HDCD, but I suspect few will incorporate it in the ...
musical drummers...who are they ???
Mick Fleetwood found a way to match a rhythm for every song played by Fleetwood Mac. Subtle but right on. Not the best of all drummers, but one of the best pop drummers ever.
