Musical Surroundings Phonomena II+ -OR- Moon 110lp v2 -OR- Parasound ZPhono XRM Phono
" It's one year old." Oops! I owned a P5 when that series was relavent. When I see "P3" I think the series from the 90's early 2000's. The Rega line is great for what it is. I guess it's a sign I'm showing signs getting on in age.

"My current phono stage is in my Musical Fidelity A3.2" The phono stage in your amp will be "bettered" with a stand alone unit. How much will only be found out by hearing all 3 at once in your setup.  With your existing table, I wouldn't go bey...
Musical Surroundings Phonomena II+ -OR- Moon 110lp v2 -OR- Parasound ZPhono XRM Phono
With your existing table and those price points, I'd go for the something in the middle. Choice of phono cartridge will make more a sonic difference. "nearly twice as good"  Not the expectation to have with audiophoolery. Maybe look at the MS ...
Buyer anxiety
Jeez, pretty obvious it's a no-go. Never move forward without actually SPEAKING with the seller. I can't believe anyone would do such transactions with only email exchanges. "Hello dear?"  Does it need to go further?

VPI upgrade?
Assuming your rig is optimized, a LOMC alone can be a welcome upgrade. The Prime will have the 3D arm, so depending on who you you ask, it is an upgrade. Your budget with patience, could find something quite good. VPI or another brand. I'd look...

Need advice for upgrading my analog setup
A "need advice" thread that's going sideways... Imagine that! "Having been playing with these toys for 40 years, I’ve certainly learned that MSRP has no bearing on system sound quality in your room." Buy a $6-8K setup, play it through a $700 un...
New Cartridge
Zyx is a Uber cart manufacturer of a nearly $20K cart. The 100 is the 'impulse buy" @$2200. This reviewer has one on a Rega P10 with not surprising, good results.  ZYX Ultimate 100 Phono Cartridge | REVIEW - Part-Time Audiophile (parttimeaudiop...
Need advice for upgrading my analog setup
"I’m using a Darlington Labs MP-7 phono preamp that I’m happy with and don’t plan on replacing." It will serve its purpose, but to get the most of the proposed setup, consider $3-5K in a "proper" phonostage.
RIP Jeff Beck
Terrible news. I feel fortunate to have caught JB twice in his last decade. One of the few surviving legends that was still active and blowing the minds of guitar fans. One of rare electric innovators that didn't read music, but had the natura...

Would yo say the Aphelion is worth the extra cash over the Apheta 3? cainullah-in this hobby-wrong question to ask! I say if you're getting the P10, why not get the "best' of Rega's offerings?  The Aphelion is purportedly made with extra care/...
New Cartridge or New Preamp
Built in phonostages are a design solution for convenience. Only a SOTA unit will have one that may compare with a circuit of an outboard. Unless you're comparing a SOTA piece, it's safe to say a built in will not pack as much engineering and com...
