audiofreak...boy am I with you.... I got ClearDay double shotgun bi-wire for my Vandersteens, and my word....a jaw dropping clearing of fog. I’m very pleased with it...tried very many cables, but ClearDay (top of the line Wireworld sounds just abo...
Any of you experiment with optimal VTA for Benz Micro Cartridges
..not for my Benz LPSmr......it prefers (maybe I prefer) tail up a bit.  I suspect no cartridges are built with that much precision. ...and too it depends on the age of the cartridge.  The suspension settles after while.
The "most foolish" loudspeaker tweak/upgrade ... is

"on the fly"
tketcham.....  platter mats always change the sound of the turntable.. So...not only are you changing the record height, but also the sound.  Too many variables for me.  I can change sra very eaily with my tonearm, but its really not worth the has...
"on the fly"
I can’t believe that is possible with your arm....though it certainly is worth doing with stopping the turntable ..... Evalute, correct, evaluate.....long and tiresome job, but can certainly improve the performance
