Where to go next, DAC or Preamp
No offense meant but I would look towards replacing the Emotiva gear, one at a time.
Small 1 inch high jack.
Amazon has at least 20 to choose from $19.95 and up.  Depends on how much weight it needs to hold, etc.  I saw one for under $100 that could lift 66 pounds.

The 10 meter speaker cables aren't the problem.  I have been using 8 meter speaker cables for 10+ years with no side effects.

Oppo 105, Oppo 205, or Legacy SACD (Esoteric, Cary CD 306, etc)
I do not believe you can use the DV60 as a dac and it certainly won't do DSD.  You would need to look at one of the newer Esoteric players which are a lot more than 2K.
why do people feel the need to buy expensive cable
@Elizabeth     It is great to see you participating again.  I missed you!
Issue with Graininess from my Aurender N100H
When I had an Aurender N100H, I heard the same grain and static.  I switched to a Sony music server and have never been happier.
Best Audio Show
I was very disappointed with RMAF in October 2017.
Preamp tubes ran their life?
I have a Mac C2500 preamp and the tubes should last 10,000 hours per the manufacturer.  However, I have found that the NOS Mullards can get noisy in a year or two time.

I want to follow up on the original post.  I finally got around to mounting the cartridge and it sounds better than ever.   I am 100% satisfied and Andy will get all my future business
