McIntosh c2700 users please chime in? @jc51373, thank you, I enjoy both my McIntosh based systems daily.
Wayne Kramer of the MC5 Passed Away @jasonbourne71 , You are so right. I believe there is only 1 band-member left that is still alive, or maybe two. I missed seeing him the last time he was out my way. They were way ahead of their time and made mistakes like having Lenny Sinc...
McIntosh c2700 users please chime in? @jc51373 , You are very welcome, it’s always a pleasure to help out fellow audiophiles.
McIntosh c2700 users please chime in? @jc51373 , the real question is why would you purchase gear that is made by a small manufacturer which becomes totally worthless once the owner/designer dies? If you think McIntosh is mid-Fi, it may be time to go see an audiologist and get the w...
Anthony (Tony) Cordesman has passed away So sad to hear this. Rest in Peace Tony.
Borresen Loudspeakers To the OP, I didn’t realize you bought a pair as I would have kept my view on stand mount speakers to myself. Good luck with them, hope it works out for you.
Accuphase E-5000 factory power cord good enough? I bought a pair of Accuphase cables, directly from them. They have interconnects and I think AC cables as well.

Whats playing on your system today? Continuing breaking in my new MM cartridge, all selections on vinyl. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, “Pack Up The Plantation” (Live) Mott The Hoople, “Greatest Hits” The Eagles, “Hotel California” The Doobie Brothers, “The Captain and Me”
Kenwood I sold Kenwood for many years, the bulbs are burnt out as LED lighting had not been invented yet.
Favorite Obscure Rock Song Not obscure but I do like “Creep” by Radiohead.
shy about prices Perhaps because the prices are so out of whack with reality that they don’t want to scare customers away? Case in point, I bought my GE Triton Refs before they were on showroom floors for $8K. The retailed for $8.5K. 3+ years later, the same e...
Moving Magnet Phono Cartridges @aberyclark, Thank you, it sounds better than any $280.00 has the right to sound. I have about 25 hours on it and it is more than I hoped it would be.
Heritage Cornwall Iv's vs ZU Audio Omen Defs I heard the Cornwall IV and they are the best sounding of all the Cornwall series. They do not sound shouty or bright at all, not like some of the older Cornwalls. I’m hoping to buy a pair this year. I heard the ZU speakers in general at 2017 RMAF... |
