Multi-Outlet with NO Conditioning
My suggestion is to add at least several more dedicated lines to go with those 8 outlets to separate the digital noise (cdp, dac) from analog components, to ensure your amplifier has enough juice, and to keep from overloading the circuit and burni...

Nice review, 4yanx. And as a McCormack DNA-2 Rev. A amp owner, I think I understand where you are coming from.I've owned my Rev. A for over two years and have yet to hear anything even close to it. So far anway. If your DNA-225 Rev Platinum is anyt...
what speaker cable would you select?
I think you'll find your answer in this recent thread:http://forum.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/fr.pl?fcabl&1114120275&-IMO
Experience with power conditioners
Gandme, Dedicated lines help minimize AC noise induced by appliances and dimmers in your home and help ensure that your amplifier is getting all the juice it needs for those dynamic and/or complex passages. But dedicated lines will not cleanse the ...
Do i need AC conditioner w/dedicated AC lines?
Dirty AC comes primarily from the pole, not the house. Dedicated lines help isolate the stereo from appliances, dimmers, and other noise-inducing household items.Supposedly dedicated lines do not help with isolating the bi-directional digital nois...
How do you deal with vibration?
Oh how I wish I too were a relativist. Then I too would think we can all be right! Or was it wrong? All I know is, I keep throwing my Jell-O against the wall, but it just won't stick.I wouldn't be surprised if this thread is nominated thread of the...

What music would you like at your funeral?

How do you deal with vibration?
Actually, some of you just might be amazed at what proper vibration control can do to the sonics. But of course I use the word proper implying that, as with most things, there must an improper way as well. There are two basic camps of vibration cont...
Are expensive cables worth it?
I agree with Swlein. I think it depends on where you are with the sonics of your present system. If at this point you are well pleased with the system overall, then finding the right cables may be just enough to put your system over the top.If, on...
Why "Cryo" anything?
Well said, Lugnut.
ARC LS25 or Pass Labs X1??
Sonics wise, the X-1 is an excellent pre-amp and perhaps one of the best in it's price range. The only things I did not care for were the ergonomincs (a rather clumsy remote and interface) and lack of finer increments on the volume control. And wit...
I need a speakercable that bring voices forward me
Rsbeck, perhaps it's because they realize certain characteristics of those cables in their own systems. Just like recommending a transport, an amp, or anything else. They are simply are recommending them to try in the next system. On the other hand...
Pass Lab x2.5 preamp owners -- plse help
I've owned the X2.5 and the X-1 and both are near identical in sonics and thought them both to be quite neutral. At least with my line conditioners plugged into them.I'll guess two possibilities as to what you may be experiencing:1. Your system's ...
Audience AU24 cable with Apogee Stage Speakers
I've not tried them with any speakers other than my own, but I think you'll find the Au24s to be everything the good reviews say they are. And more.-IMO
