Why is good, deep bass so difficult? - Myths and their Busters
So here are a few things to consider.1. Most woofers double. 40 Hz turns quickly to 80 Hz. 2. The law of physics would dictate that a 10" woofer will not keep up with a 6" midrange. Too much mass. They must use very stiff suspensions to bring them...

profI can remember when I opened my shop. We didn't have the RMAF at that time so I went to the CES in Vegas. Did all my research and read the reviews of the speakers that were of interest. I was truly amazed. Remember how I went to visit room aft...

asvjerryI had a room at the RMAF for about 10 years. When the room was not that busy I was happy to play a cut off of a guests CD. In general I preferred to play music that I knew would show just how good my system was, with high degree of transpa...

wolfThat is a great idea. I plan on purchasing a truck, sort of like a food truck, and park in different locations around Seattle.

The transformers they use were buried underneath the base of Mount Fuji for 10 years prior to being installed, allowing them to project that very organic sound.

I love the magazine ads that showcase the crossover. All these parts. In some cases there is more going on in the crossover as some single ended amplifiers have circuitry. They also have notch filterers to eliminate cab resonance at certain freque...

Yes. It is nice to eliminate as much crossover as possible. Crossovers are subtractive, they take away from the signal. Pay good money for an amplifier and the the damn speaker sucks out the signal. Not nice.

Here is what Wilson Beseech is doing. http://wilson-benesch.com/products/endeavour-stand-mounted-loudspeaker.htmlThey are using two drivers in clam shell configuration. The driver that projects music/sound into the room is not facing the listener ...

RalphI think the implications of an aerodynamically designed speaker is foreign to most. A major goal of a good driver must be to deal with the back waves of sound. Having them bounce off the basket and back through the paper thin cone is just not...

Why is that amp incredible? Do they sound any good?
