Rhythmic L12 vs. SVS SB-1000
I took a quick look.  FWIW I'm a very happy SVS SB2000 owner, but on paper for 70 bucks more the L12 looks to potentially offer significantly deeper bass performance vs. the SVS SB1000.  It's a little bigger and weighs almost twice as much, and it...
Please recommend a $1500 SS or Hybrid integrated to pair with Silverline 17.5 monitors
Yeah Stuart you're correct.  I recommended it because it's got a bit more power and probably better dynamics than your Jolida and would preserve that slightly warm tube thing.  JA powered a pair of YG Carmel 2s with it with good success and they'r...
Recommendations for IC and speaker cable
First, I'd recommend just buying used and keep swapping until you find what works for you.  As someone who recently tried to sell cables and couldn't even get near half their value that's your gain with little risk of loss.  Anyway, the original A...
"Good tube Integrated Amps"
PrimaLuna Dialogue Premium HP is right around that price range.  Read the reviews.

I'd save up my pennies and buy a used PrimaLuna Dialogue Premium HP integrated.  Best of luck.
How to merge home theater with 2 channel
Ditto what Reubent said.  I've done the same with great success and my priorities are identical to yours.  If I'm you I'd get the Monitor Audio PLC350 as it will probably be the best match for your PL500s short of adding another PL500.  For the re...
Rotel RSX-1058 Won't Respond to Remote Commands
I assume you checked the batteries in the remote.  I had two friends buy Harmony remotes and both failed within a year, so not sure I'd be too quick to blame the Rotel.  Maybe try unplugging the receiver for a minute and then try again.
Speaker Recommendation Needed
What electronics and speakers were you using when you had to turn the treble up?  Without knowing that it's tough to make meaningful recommendations.
Opinion on best hand held Remote?? Universal or
Agree with Erik.  I've used a Home Theater Master remote for the past 20 years, and it has performed flawlessly and has an impressively strong IR signal.  I also agree that the programming process is a little cumbersome and clunky, but it's not ho...
Magico S1 Mk II - The First Review
Ibid. Look it up tin head. And, just to be clear, I would never take any words out of your mouth.
Magico S1 Mk II - The First Review
Yeah, this is just not getting through the thick wall of ego, so I'll try to make it more basic.  First, I said I'm not associated with Magico nor did I ever say I was a fan of them.  That's your invention in a fairly obvious attempt to try to def...
Magico S1 Mk II - The First Review
You're getting criticism precisely because your process is completely flawed.  You don't get it.  You heard the speakers in what YOU WOULD CONSIDER to be the best possible of circumstances.  That means absolutely nothing and lies at the heart of t...
Help! Best amp for Rockport Aviors?
Wait, you have these large, rear-ported speakers 12 inches from the rear wall?  Is that right?  Personally with the size of your room I'd have them at least two feet into the room measured from the rear of the speakers, and given spacing between t...
usher cp 6391
If you can get these for around $2k used I'd consider them a huge bargain for the sound quality you're getting.  Ushers are one of my faves and have sounded incredible at shows -- too bad they don't seem to get much attention here in the US.  Ther...
Magico S1 Mk II - The First Review
"The Bottom LineWhile these speakers show an incredible amount of craftsmanship, unique designs and high tech cabinetry resulting in small speakers with really amazing output they are not for long term critical music listening. If you truly need ...
