Best power cord for a preamp?
Given what you’re looking for you might take a look at whatever Synergistic PC fits in your budget or buy used if at all possible.  Another lesser known PC that sounds like it’ll do what your looking for is the Silverstar PC from Black Cat, and it...
For classical music lovers best amp for large orchestral forces?
I just looked at the specs of the Epicon 8s, and while their 89dB sensitivity is relatively benign the nominal impedance is listed as 5 Ohms.  I can’t remember the last time I saw an impedance level that low, and if nominal is 5 you can bet minimu...
Can a cheapo set of earbuds sound great?
Yeah, 1More has a rep for delivering good sound and tech for the $.  I will say though that sound quality increases quickly and significantly as you go up the price scale from the $50 range.  That said, I think you made a very good choice at this ...
What are the good (inexpensive) headphone amps?
Flyby alert!!!  OP is MIA and has never responded.  Respond at your own risk.

@newbee Big +1.  We reasoned and well said.
Best place to insert a new higher end cable in my system?
Agree to start with source to pre but it will also depend on how good the interconnect is that it’s replacing so pre to amp definitely worth trying too.  Cables are a crapshoot and you never know til you try.  Best of luck.
For classical music lovers best amp for large orchestral forces?
I think Class A solid state is a good choice for their ample power reserves as long as it has enough power to begin with   If you like the sound of your Pass but need more power I’d take a look at the Clayton Audio S100 that produces 100Wpc into 8...
Cable Quality vs Customer Service
Congrats!  Hope you like it.  My cables took I think about two weeks to arrive — they come from Eastern Europe somewhere, but I forget which county.  Look forward to hearing your thoughts.  Did you spring for the burn-in service?
Sonus faber Venere 2.5
I had the 2.5s in my system on demo, and while they do some things well they also have some significant flaws so I’d look elsewhere.  If you can stretch a little I think the LSA-20 Signatures would be significantly better all around than the Vener...
Cable Quality vs Customer Service
I didn’t do the burn-in service (too cheap) and very surprisingly I have to say I didn’t notice much of a change in sound, and the Grands are cryo’d so they may sound pretty darn good right outta the box. Just trying to maybe save you some $ FWIW.
Cable Quality vs Customer Service
I contacted Lavricable last night.  They will be willing to make me a cable at their Grand rank. Sweet!!!  I never called them — how were they over the phone?  Not sure the Master is worth the upgrade over the Ultimate line, but the Grand that ...
Cable Quality vs Customer Service
Seems we have done a great job of destroying the systems which have served us successfully over the years. A big part of this IMO, is too much dependence on computerized systems for their customer service rep. Or worse — India.
Cable curmudgeon
it solves everyone’s cable dilemma perfectly: a Bose Table-Top Radio with Built-In CD Player (it does have a short wire antenna to pick up local FM and AM radio stations). Nothing could better help us avoid having to deal with interconnect cables...
Is There A Big Difference Between Subwoofers From Different Manufacturers
Unledd I missed it the room is as important as the sub. The room (acoustics) are covalent to sub/speaker sound. The room becomes less of a factor the more subs you add.  With a swarm (4 subs) the room becomes almost a non issue.
Cable Quality vs Customer Service
I’ll save you a little work as I was already on their site.  Here are Lavricable’s two Nighthawk cables — all silver and can be had as low as $193 but even their top cable can be had for only $268 although I’d recommend upgrading the plug to the A...
