The Luxman L-595A SE integrated is coming.
joeinid637 posts06-14-2021 5:04am The 595A is now a different animal. It’s absolutely amazing. Big 3D, open and sweet with absolutely wonderful vocals. Sooooo much better than when first fired up and absolutely stunning now. It’s only going to get...
The Luxman L-595A SE integrated is coming.
Although I am a fan of Luxman amps, I have to say this one looks ugly and cheap in comparison to the current range of Luxman integrateds. Sorry. It looks like a Yamaha instead which is usually a downgrade in build, looks and sound quality.
Very small, warm and dynamic speakers
Dali Mentor Menuet, rear ported but can go close to the wall.
Thinking of investing in either Yamaha AS300 or Luxman l509X.
Buddy, I’m not sure if this is a troll thread. You are considering a discontinued $250 amp (which will probably cost $150 used) for the $19,000 Sopra 2 speakers??
Luxman L-590AXII vs Pass Labs INT-60
Reduced detail and rolled off treble of the Pass Labs.. doesn’t sound too good although there are other positive attributes. I guess it will all come down to personal preference as well as speaker matching, as usual.
Luxman L-590AXII vs Pass Labs INT-60
I just found a review of the Pass Labs INT-250 by Steve Huff. It is useful he included a short note on the comparison between the INT-250 and Luxman L-590AXII. Link below. https://www.stevehuffphoto.com/2021/04/04/pass-labs-int-250-review/"Luxman ...

Period integrated for my Nautilus 805s?
Krell KAV-300i or any other high powered integrateds would be my pick. The Mark Levinson looks good too. I briefly owned the N805 many years ago and the Krell matched well the B&W. I also tried YBA Integre DT with it and got good results, high...
Considering an integrated
So many good integrateds around up to $10,000. I will suggest the one which I own. It was mentioned several times here. Luxman L-590AXII. It's an endgame amp to me. The Pass Labs INT-60 or 250 or 25 are said to be excellent as well.
Harbeth 30.1, 30.2, XD
New is not always better. +2. Having said that, I find the 30.1 to be much better than the older M30 which sounded too warm and shut-in in the midrange and treble, severely lacking clarity and detail. My first Harbeth experience with the M30 was m...
Harbeth 30.1, 30.2, XD
I have listened to both 30.1 and 30.2 at the dealers about 3 or 4 years ago and they surely sound different. 30.2 sounds slightly more open with better clarity. The 30.2 sounds slightly brighter than the 30.1 which is warmer in comparison where th...
Calling for recommendations: Speakers for a very lively room
If feasible, add a high pile rug covering a large area between speakers and listening chair. Also, furnish the room with furniture might help break up the sound. Fabric sofa or any piece of furniture along the walls. If all else fails, you may cons...
New Dynaudio Heritage Special..?..!
Ghasley, well said. Good gear is surely capable of bringing us closer to the core of the music. I own the Marten Duke 2 but have not experienced the Dynaudio Heritage or Wilson Tunetots. All these high calibre gear especially the Tunetots surely l...
New Dynaudio Heritage Special..?..!
The Wilson Tunetots only go down to 65Hz but they cost $10,000 a pair. They must be very special high-end speakers. At a price range up to $7,000, you may look at the Marten Oscar Duo other than Dynaudio Heritage. I own the Harbeth SHL5+ and liste...
Integrated Amp Choices
If considering Luxman, go with the top-of-the-range Class A L-590AXII. Unfortunately I haven't listened to all the other options. Another alternative is one of the models from Pass Labs.
