What is the most challenging music to play on a stereo?
Opera, huge dynamic range.
Goodbye Everyone
@elliottbnewcombjr  It's not about pride, but too often I feel I'm wasting my time. No good deed goes unpunished!
Tough situation - need advice on modern (or refurbished Equivalent) Advent Loudspeakers
KLH or Lintons.
Does anybody pay a pro to dial their system in?
Even a modest set of headphones can sound really good. If you want your system to be better than your headphones, you'll have to buy some very expensive loudspeakers. Once you get sorted out, no headphone is going to match the loudspeaker sound yo...
KT66s in place of KT88 tubes
Generally no. Plate voltage is vastly different.
Is the XA25 a realistic option for LRS’s?
I've had a similar set-up before. If the bass is good, you should be OK.
Big orchestral sound in pop, rock etc.

Sorry but 25 wpc is not enough for the LRS. Unless you play at VERY low levels.
Shifting center image and recommendations on an approach
I never had this issue. I think something is wrong with your Rotel. Could be just a dirty volume/balance knob.
Thinking of Magnepan ... finally!
3.7s have a tweeter to die for. It's a big panel and can push some air. Sub or no sub they sound great.
Bass/speaker excursion issues
Have you used an equalizer program or room correction?
Noise inside speaker cabinet when moving ?
The crossover might have come loose. Best practice would be to take a look and hot glue it back in place if it is not secure.
