Fezz vs Raven
I'd be more inclined to buy more main stream products. Maybe a PrimaLuna with a Music Hall table.
Help needed with new integrated amp.
Any Maggie 1.7 or larger have true ribbon tweeters that are hard to beat .  You need the 2.7 or above for the ribbon tweeter models.
Gold coated brass speaker spades
Brass is just copper with some zinc tin for hardness. Copper is a better conductor but you got better ears than me if you can tell the difference.
Happy listening in SoCal
I looked this up. I couldn't figure it out. They just removed a tier but I don't think the price of electricity is going down in California. They aren't producing anymore cheap energy and buy a lot of it out of state. Probably just a shift in bill...

The Allure of Vintage Audio Gear
I've been in this hobby a long time. I have mostly what I called mid-range gear. Most of my systems were under $15000, the majority were around $6000. Over the years quality gear has become more affordable. Still trying to improve my system/s, nev...
NOS Tube Recommendation for Quicksilver Phono Pre Amp
I just ordered Gold Lyon preamp tubes for my Quicksilver Mid-Mono. Looking for a little more extension. Previously I replaced the stock tubes in my Rogue Sphinx V3 with Gold Lyons and it really made a nice improvement. Those aren't cheap tubes any...
The Low Volume Loudness Dilemma
I think old Yamaha integrated amps had an adjustable loudness control.
