Good Product or Nonsense?
More flat earth science! No better than Windex for cleaning CDs! No effect upon sound quality!
Pyramid speakers
My apologies. for giving the wrong model number: Metronome 7 - Richard Sequerra's small monitor speaker. Thank you mesch for reminding me! Back in the 80's I had Tangent RS-2's. Another superb small Brit speaker!
Anticables and the Jumper Effect: Or how I learnedto stop worrying and love my system!
@dave_b : You sir have a potential career in writing X - rated fiction!
Pyramid speakers
And the Day-Sequerra tuner? At the time acknowledged as the world's finest tuner!

So nobody remembers the Met 1, Met 2 and the T-1? Gee, I must be getting old!

Richard Sequerra also sold an add-on ribbon tweeter called the T-1. The Audio Critic liked it a lot - found it to be superior to the Decca ribbon tweeter.

Richard Sequerra (of tuner fame) built and sold a triangular-shaped floor-stander called the Pyramid Metronome 1 back in '79 - 81. Later he produced and sold a small 2-way monitor called the Metronome 2. I saw the Met 1 at Innovative Audio in Broo...
Celebrating The 50th Anniversary of The Allman Brothers Band
@tooblue : I bought the Johnny Jenkins "Ton Ton Macoutes" LP (original pressing) two years ago! Certainly rare! And I saw the Allman Brothers in concert in Vancouver, 1973!
Koetsu Rosewood - Best/safest way to clean stylus
The last issue of 90% silver in US coins was in '64. And one wonders why things cost so much nowadays!
Koetsu Rosewood - Best/safest way to clean stylus
@terry9 : US coins are not magnetic! They are mostly copper/zinc with a thin silver cladding. Nickels are the same with a nickel cladding. Avoid the '43 steel pennies!
Reasonable but not outragious interconnects
I can recommend the Audioquest Silver Extreme IC's. Available from HCM for about $90 (list price was $400). I bought 5 sets! Can't beat the value/price ratio!
The Best Record Ever Made?
Doug Sax hits it out of the ballpark with Harry James and band recorded live direct-to-disk! Stunning dynamic range! I have a copy!
Why Are HI-RES Downloads So Expensive?
Because Hi-Rez is another marketing scheme to get the gullible and neurotic to spend more money. Capitalism at its most predatory! And I am not kidding.
Benchmark DAC1 vs Musichall Dac 25.3 : A/B test
"Your ears aren't refined enough - your system isn't good enough" LOL!
Benchmark DAC1 vs Musichall Dac 25.3 : A/B test
Another example showing that all well-engineered DAC's will sound essentially alike! The proliferation of DAC's (especially the expensive ones) is a marketing ploy to get the gullible and neurotic to spend more money.
