Follow-up: I think speakers that are designed to be absolutely revealing should come with some sort of Parental Warning Sticker that says: non-audiophile-grade recordings can be hazardous to your health (or at least your hearing).(Sorry to be so n...
Wilson Audio Watt Puppy 5.1 or..
Yep, your last comment about bad recordings sounding bad says it all. I owned WP6's for a couple of years and withlesser recordings they had etched vocals, scratchy strings,jazzed-up brass. They seem to unrelentingly show flaws inthe recording or ...

Yes--I hate wood crates. Same problem with my old Watt Puppies. I managed it by putting the crate on its endand "walking" the speaker upright into the crate, then laying it on its side (after wrapping in in heavy plastic. 'hope this tip helps other...
Owners of speakers by obscure companies chime in
Thanks Duke! Well, hooray for the Web I guess. Good luck.
Speaker suggestions:long-wall, somewhat nearfield.
Oh, that one-note or disconnected coming-right-from-the-woofer bass syndrome is pretty common to my ears at audio showsand dealers in my experience, even with megabuck speakers.

Very well said Shadorne.Actually, I kind of like small companies that just have 1 or 2 models. I like to think that they concentrate their best efforts. AudioMachina and Ridgestreet come to mind.I mean, JMLabs and B&W confuse me, each having m...
