Review: Morrison Audio Model 19 Speaker
I'd love to audition Mr. Morrison's latest but alas, we have insurmountable geographic challenges- over 3000 miles worth. I've chatted with Don by phone a few times and have found him to be an extremely engaging fellow, with a fine sense of humor.

Try chanting "who let the dog out, da do ron ron" for a minimum of 45 minutes. This has been proven to end any cravings for a Big Mac or similar "food."Unfortunately, the mantra does not cure nor prevent ear worms. The search for a cure continues.
Great, Physically Unobtrusive High-end Speakers?
Maplegrove:Can you kindly give me some examples of speakers that send the sound wave directly at the listener? I don't understand what you mean. Thanks very much. And thanks everyone else. Dunlavy is a brand I am not familiar with but will research....
Great, Physically Unobtrusive High-end Speakers?
My room is roughly 18x20 with 8' ceilings. There's a fireplace mantle behind the listening spot -there are two rectangular openings in the ceiling on either side of the fireplace to promote warm air circulation from the fireplace to the upstairsTh...
Amplifiers:A Keeper for Life. Do you know of one ?
A pair of upgraded MFA M120 mono amps w/ Gennie KT88's. I've had 'em since the late '80s and they were upgraded a few years ago. I have neither the money nor the patience to audition anything else which purports to be better although I've recently...
Law of Accelerating Returns
I think Whart's reasoned and very well-written post says it all at least for me.
Law of Accelerating Returns
I read Harley's essay and I wondered how high was up, and if the merry go round was going too fast to ever get off.But then again, I've never spent the kind of money it would take to assemble a "world-class" system.I also wonder if, when you intro...
Law of Accelerating Returns
I think Mceljo is correct. I like the idea of looking and finding the best VALUES. I've tried cable which costs about as much as a small car and have had better results with much less expensive wires. That's just one example. The often astronomical...
Who here loves his/her Rogue Audio Integrated amp?
Sharksfan:O'Brien calls the Pharaoh his "desert island" amp. Apparently for good reason. :)

Rodman99999I suspect your mantra is nothing more than a nefarious, thinly-disguised attempt at mind control. :)Good one.
Importance of Soundstage/Imaging
Ohms, yes, I've considered them and have exchanged emails with John. Mapman, your comments are very funny! "way too easy…" Yeah, I'd have to turn in my audiophile man card.

Tonykay:I probably could have written YOUR post! Although I never got into Led Zep. I once saw them at the Fillmore in SF and Robert Plant seemed comical to me. I know, I'm probably a ZEP luddite. But in those days I had the opportunity to see doz...
Importance of Soundstage/Imaging
I've actually considered OHM's and exchanged a few emails with John. We'll see.Mapman, that's funny. "way too easy!" I'd have to turn in my audiophile man card wouldn't I? :)
Importance of Soundstage/Imaging
I'm getting very tired of being aware of two large floor standing boxes in our living room. My goal is to find speakers that present a sort of “curtain of music” as close as possible to live performances. I don't want to be thinking of any of the ...
