REVEL performa3 f208 or TEKTON Moab
Never owned Harbeths and only heard Stirlings once. Not my cuppa. But hey, thanks for playing..........
REVEL performa3 f208 or TEKTON Moab
Nothing less than 200 watts per channel please. I don't care if the sensitivity is 105 db. I like to rock. You sound like a good candidate for a pair of Cerwin Vegas.....

@roberjerman  Buy the better-engineered speaker! You already know which one! Yeah this guy is famous for spouting off about speakers he's never heard. Proceed with caution........
Does Bluesound have a new product launch coming?
Dunning-Kruger effect. Arnie Kruger?
JBL L65 vs Forte III vs Cornwall IV
Yeah I figured these naysayers have never heard the current version of klipsch heritage speakers. Even older models sound better when properly dialed in with good electronics in front of them. I’m sure most have only heard them driven with cheap S...
JBL L65 vs Forte III vs Cornwall IV
You’ve heard Cornwall IVs or just making assumptions based on something you heard years ago?
Klipsch Heresy iv...Your experience.
Adcom, a Pro amp, and a Denon HT receiver.........Yeah, I'd put a lot of stock in that "review"...........
Speakers good for close to wall placement
Another vote for the Cornwall, preferably the IV version.Oz
JBL L65 vs Forte III vs Cornwall IV
I have not heard the JBLs, but I have owned the Forte IIIs and now own the CW IV. Since you are positioning the speakers on the long wall and can sit 10 ft away, I would say go for the Cornwalls. The Fortes are great speakers too, but the CW beats...
Vandersteen, Audio Note, and Resistance
I think you are going to be disappointed with 10 watts driving vandersteens no matter what tap you use.Oz
Marshall Kilburn 2 or JBL Xtreme 2?
I'll give you another option. Klipsch The One, or The Three. Walmart is having a fire sale on The One with phono and I bought one a week ago. This little thing rocks. And it's not all about sheer output or bass response, it is actually detailed an...
Streamers sans DAC?
Lumin U-1 mini fits your needs. And it was a noticeable improvement over the Node 2i. I use it with a MHDT Pagoda.Oz
Klipsch La Scala 2018 or the Triangle Cello?
Perhaps you are not familiar with Triangle speakers, LOL.   You are right, I am not. But that's not my point. Which is that the Cornwall IV, Forte III and AL5 Lascala have improved in many ways that make them a good choice for even non horn f...
Klipsch La Scala 2018 or the Triangle Cello?
Five feet? Are you talking about the length of the bass horn? Surely you don't mean the woofer is 5 ft. behind the midrange horn?Oz
Klipsch La Scala 2018 or the Triangle Cello?
I don't think the LaScalas are in the same league. The Klipsch can do loud and punchy but they will lack the finesse and 3D imaging of the Triangles. You will be very happy with the Triangles. Even better with a tube amp. Perhaps you haven't h...
