Jul 05, 2017	Spendor and Tubes Not much to add other than I have a second rig with Spendor SP2/2 on the end of rebuilt 1960s EICO HF35 monoblocks with 6L6 tubes. Not too loud but sweet as a nut.

Jun 30, 2017	Quad ESL 57 with subwoofer I got a REL Strata 3 and it works well. I adjust it depending on recordings but for the most part keep it subtle. Definitely adds something to the Quads. I hope to buy a second one.

Jun 29, 2017	Rotel RX-975 compatible with a moving coil cartridge? Yes. The MP110 is the best of the lower priced MM. Not saying there may no improvement, it’s just that the TT and arm, while reasonably good, wouldn’t do justice to the effort. Anyhow, the Denon needs a heavier arm to shine.
Jun 29, 2017	Rotel RX-975 compatible with a moving coil cartridge? Only MM with that receiver. Not sure you'd be gaining much on that starter deck. I'd use a Nagaoka MP110 and get a separate phono stage.
