Agree with comment to replace many lines with one big one. I know because I found out the hard way that one big 8 gauge pipe sounded better than 3 x 14 or 2 x 12 gauge runs.

@yogiboy HD TV uses less power than old CRTs! LED lighting a lot less than incandescents.

Not a fan of the myriad mainstream brand mid-fi transistor receivers. 
Spendor Classic 3/1 vs Graham Chartwell LS6 ?
From the video samples (I know), the Spendor sounded better to my ears. I have had SP2/2 for decades and they are excellent. The SP2/3R2 might be worth a look.

Agreed. Look at better phono amp and stay with the cartridges you have for the moment.

I’m in a concrete basement for a reason. It sounds better. Agree on 24" paving slabs. I don’t agree about mounting the speakers on Sorbothane though. It will allow the speakers to move slightly causing smearing. You could try adding mass with 2 sl...
