If you can run on ethernet, make sure you're using a gigabit router. While a direct run is preferable, you can insert a gigabit network switch (not a hub) to "split" the data.

I heard the Sweet Vinyl at AXPONA and was suitably impressed. We did AB testing and while I could hear a difference, it was not significant - a very slight veiling when click suppressed. .

@halcro I wonder if that's why your LDR doesn't sound as good as I think it should. I know I suggested trying it on the DD table instead. Perhaps you could try a before and after clip with the LDR in the Yamo or a metal (Mg) shell.

@halcro I was hoping you'd stop by. I'm baffled. It's not the first time I've had well-reviewed items sound worse than what I already have. I'm certain the leads were correct. I took a photo in case I forgot the orientation. As you know, the Bosto... 
Is ground noise really normal? If so, why?
Further to what @pragmasi said, ensure there are no routers, cable modems, or Wi-Fi units nearby. Move them with the volume up and note the change in hum levels.
