@bkeske Welcome to the monobloc club! Looks good. Care to comment on SQ?
The magic of outdoor listening
I firmly believe no one should have to listen to my music outside of my home and where neighbors are concerned, the understanding should be mutual.

@slaw Thanks for the update.  Glad to hear there's an improvement.  IIRC, you had single large open springs. Ever tried the Nobsound pods?
Frank Kuzma is releasing a new arm!
And there was me thinking there'd be a $3000 version of the 12" 4 Point. Always for the new rich.
Why do folks spend more on electronics than on speakers?
Source first. You can't retrieve what you've lost no matter what speaker you use.
2nd systems- who’s got one?

@slaw don't hold back, man! How are they? Installed the Townshend Pods under each wall shelf.
recommendation for phono pre amp and mc cartridge, around 1000$ each
The jist of it is that less wire in the coil means lower output voltage but lighter mechanism hence more detail and faster response. Other factors notwithstanding.  is there any advantage to a low output Mc compare to high, or mid?
5AR4 rectifier tube question
Sure it does. All the signal does ultimately is to modulate the power supply DC. The music signal does not pass through the rectifier tube.

Lost Nation String Band – Lost Nation String Band (Dodo 1982) ... @bkeske Got it. Wasn’t sure if you’d scored a bunch from Goodwill! Just kidding. I’ve hauled boxes of albums (from back the day) from apartment to apartment over the years. Always...

Renata Tebaldi – Selections From The World’s Greatest Operas (United Artists 1962 mono) This is wonderful. If your table can track the last cut on side 1, Giordano's La Momma Morta, without distortion, you're golden.

@bkeske Brian, I have to ask due to inate curiosity. You've a bunch of album pics there with a lot of ring wear on the covers. Look like a Good/Good+. What's up with that?
