This Mortal Coil – Filigree & Shadow (4AD 1986) Bought when released. Spent many nights with this on headphones. Still an old favorite.

Laurie Anderson – Home Of The Brave (Warner Bros. 1986) Replacement mint copy of this very weird album. I bought it when it came out and liked a couple of tracks. I destroyed it a few weeks ago with a heat gun. Great sound on a good rig.

Why Are People So Concerned About How Others Spend Their Money?
A young guy told me I had it easy with no debt and a fancy stereo. He was 25 years younger. I told him I'd give it all back to be his age again and that 25 years ago, I too had none of what I have now. It's all perspective and relative.   
Kiseki Purple Heart NS to Dynavector xv-1s ??
The Dynavector it is then! I had a lower end Kiseki in the 80s called a Miltek Aurora and it was very laid back and smooth. Not for me. Dealer said it was the house sound of Kiseki.

Sad news indeed. Frank was an old-school gentleman who was at the forefront of getting the most from his system. He gladly shared his findings and was always gracious in the face of dissent. He will be missed. RIP.
