Easy to drive, outstandingly natural sound from 40-50 Hz up.....AN-E, O/96, others?
Mitch, a few things. Looking at your systems page ( very nice ) the Khorns would be too far apart from one another. The Lascalas would be my choice ( why I have the Lascalas as well ). Yes, I had a side business, and started damping horns ( and ot...

Absolutely ! However, K horns need corners. The Lascala does not, and benefits from a pair of subs from 50 hz down. I have been a Klipsch Heritage fanatic for 50 years, and when I get done with a pair, none of the nasties are present. Just beautif...

Most speakers can put me to sleep. A good set of horns will excite and delight. Enjoy ! MrD.
Lets replace my Klipsch La Scala Speakers
I would be able to get the OP’s Lascalas to sound incredible, and, to work in the OP’s room. Unfortunately, I am not for hire, in Texas.
Lets replace my Klipsch La Scala Speakers
ozzy +1......I wish my current home had a proper room with corners, as I would own them again. I have been through the false corner route, and it was not to my liking. Enjoy ! MrD.
What are the best speakers you have ever owned and why?
I am enjoying my current pair of Klipsch Lascalas ( modded and tweaked ), but wish I had not sold my Leak 2075 speakers many years ago, as I was made an offer I could not refuse at the time.
Benchmark AHB2 Amplifier, opinions and competition
rv, If you were looking for opinions on the amp, why order it prior to doing so ? Lot of good reviews, but a lot of good amps at that price range. What I read was the Benchmark is quite a bit better running in balanced mode. Have not heard one, bu...
Lets replace my Klipsch La Scala Speakers
With all of my mods and updates, my latest pair of Lascalas offers me an open window to whatever I play through them. They are truly invisible and do not have a sound of their own. Classical piano, violin and orchestra, Miles, Jimi, Sinatra, Sarah...
Technology in speakers....
Linn DMS, fully multi amplified, were a very nice musical experience. Definitely worth a trade / buy for $500.
Looking for speaker recommendations
I am not a B&W fan, but being available through Best Buy Magnolia does not mean they are not quality built.
Best speakers for classic rock
Atmasphere hit the nail on the head, which has been said before. BTW...…...Paul W. Klipsch did not listen to rock. When someone asks me what speaker is good for rock, I make an assumption that they are a headbanger ( listens loud ). I appreciate a...
Brook 12A, listening impressions and design issues needed.
Wow. Flashback. I was introduced to Khorns with these amplifiers running them. Also some Mcintosh monos. I kind of remember 2 of the Brook amps running them, 1 for each speaker. Was in my early teens, mid 60s, and I became a Klipsch fanatic from t...
What are the speakers you very rarely find in the Used market(Audiogon or Anywhere)?
@simao    Gershwin ? I think you meant Gershman ?
Amp "timing" ?
Comparing two power amplifiers I owned many years ago.: A Dynaco 410, and a GAS Ampzilla. Through any loudspeaker I owned at the time ( Klipsch Lascala; Dahlquist DQ10; Martin Logan CLS; AR3, and a pair of JBL monitors, ) the Dynaco was slow and i...
Amp "timing" ?
" PRAT are the most basic building blocks of a musical performance ". TNT audio...…..I personally came to the realization of it in the late 60s, but in my circle, it was Pace, Rhythm, Attack and Timing. I was a Linnie, and all gear was either good...
