So, a reviewer just said something I need to talk about.
Check out the latest YT video of Lachan of Passion for Sound, and his latest topic. Enjoy! Always, MrD

@audphile1 +1, very nicely said, but "Keith Don't Go" is also a standout to Nil's musicianship and virtuosity as a guitar player and singer. As I still communicate with many of my customers whom I’ve consulted with and folks I have met since, ther...
Cornwall IV vs. Volti Rival, Razz; Razz v. 1, 2, 3 -- what changed?
As a Klipsch follower/user/tweaker/modifier/listener of 56 years, who has met PWK on a couple of occasions during my life, I feel saddened by what I read from Greg Roberts. If not for the horn design of PWK, Roberts would not have his Vittora mode...

The Klipsch Heritage series cabinets are made here, as are the pro and cinema lines. All of the others are made in China. At one point Klipsch used 3/4 Baltic Birch. To the individual who has the Belles, damp the horns and purchase an RSL 12s subw...

Speaking of Jeff Beck, and later the mention of Rod Stewart, the duo gave meaning to their remake of Curtis Mayfield's "People Get Ready". One word describes it. Amazing. Enjoy ! MrD.

@wolf_garcia "It would be ridiculous to judge any music for sound instead of musicianship". "Do people actually do that?" EXACTLY my point ! Yes wolf, there are many. Too many in fact, which I find sad. However, if they are enjoying their systems,...
A stupid question(s) about power cords
Matt, no doubt Clapton might have gone through many "takes" to get to the finalized and selected one, but what am I missing? Tell me, what am I missing? Do you know what "autotune" is. This was not a technology available back then. If Clapton was ...

@mike_in_nc +1 my man! @bolong, very honest and real. He was inviting them to hear his/their playing. @hilde45 "the ability to hear the strings and body of the violin creates a conduit to hear the musician, to resonate with their intent and emotio...
How Long Should a First Watt SIT3 Last ?
Wolf, hey...you also stated you heard very little to no difference, after you damped the horns as I had suggested. You are the only one of anybody and everybody I know who stated this. Just sayin. My best, MrD.

Tony, you list on your system page that the Heresy pair are IV. Why I said IV. 👍
Magnepan LRS plus & Atma-Sphere digital amps
The Moabs are much easier to drive than the Maggies. $4300 a pair for the new Orchard monos seems like a very reasonable price. I like power. I own, amongst many other amps, an LSA GAN 350 (did a few mods to it) which gives a very enjoyable listen...
How Long Should a First Watt SIT3 Last ?
Tony, do you have a backup amplifier to listen through in the meantime? I am glad you have the H IVs on stands, they are tighter and more open this way (my experience is the same with the series 1, 2 & 3). My tech is Kris Rhoades...Fine Tuned ...
A stupid question(s) about power cords
@audphile1 I took you seriously...lol. Keep in mind, most modern refrigerators cycle between on and off. I would give it a full week, or more.
How Long Should a First Watt SIT3 Last ?
Unless the transformers are bad, everything else is likely an easy and reasonable fix. I am not stating you should invest money and time into them, as that is up to you....However, I went the solid state route years ago, and have never looked back...
Selling, donating or giving away a good pair of vintage speakers
If I was in driving distance to you, I would surely take them off your hands. I would rebuild the crossovers, eliminate the toggle switches and find use for them in a 2nd, or 3rd system. Beautiful cabinetry. I lived with a pair for a while (on loa...
