Brand new Vandersteen Model 2's
It makes one wonder just how close the SQ of the new model III is to the Treo.
It was 20 years ago today...
Wow Viridian, you have been around before the Dead Sea was even sick. lol.Congrats!!!
Brand new Vandersteen Model 2's
I had talked to Richard Vandersteen about this and he said the cabinets of the model 2 were not inert enough, that is, not controlling vibrations as well as the more expensive models (Treo Ct., Quattro Ct Wood, etc.} which would impede the perform...
Lower end Soundsmith cartridges vs others in same price range?
Schubert,Agree. I have the Nagaoka MP-200. Absolute killer for $400.

Are There Any Risks to Your Stylus From Using Magic Eraser
I use Last stylus cleaner. Less is more. About one application for every 15 to 20 Lp's. Use soft stylus brush on all cleaning in between. Small bottle of this lasts a long time. Have had mine for over 20 years.

What kind of listener are you?
It depends on the system. When I build a good system (which I have) I'm a fantastic listener of all kinds of music.
Tempted to buy a Macintosh
The only Mac I would consider is the MC-275. Otherwise just go lie down for awhile till the urge goes away.....Former Mac owner.
Looking for an integrated amp around 4000 to 5000.
Belles Virtuoso, when it becomes available.
