Bang for the buck Damn! I didn’t know that add on bass module existed! I likely would have kept them and tried out the bass module had I known. I prefer a 3 way for more dynamic music.
Bang for the buck I just sold my CSS Criton 1TDX. They are a very nice speaker and definitely lean to the warm side but are still detailed enough and are dynamic. Remind me a lot of higher end Dynaudios. Also they like power.
Bang for the buck @labguy, “Solid state front end. May upgrade to a better integrated but plan to stay solid state.” Are you using a home theater reciever, vintage integrated, etc. What is it you have exactly. Home theater Receiever on an efficient speaker may...
Demise of bass quality in Main speakers @clearthinker , Are you referring to B&W 801 and 802?
Børresen M3 vs. CSS (Jay Iyagi) vs. Wavetouch Why would there be? You talk about how every other speaker is crap and “only natural sound is WT”. Did you come here for compliments? Natural and un natural is subjective and to my ears on the BS YouTube video your speakers don’t sound very good. ...
Bang for the buck You didn’t mention what your front end is? Tubes, ss, receiver? Makes a huge difference on your pic.
Børresen M3 vs. CSS (Jay Iyagi) vs. Wavetouch @milhorn, “Many people have devoted their life time to find the perfect natural sound reproduction audio and are searching for it right now. I did the same and I found the close to perfect natural sound audio.” That’s your opinion that you and m...
Børresen M3 vs. CSS (Jay Iyagi) vs. Wavetouch Even though this is basically meaningless (recorded in different rooms using different recording equipment then listening on a completely unrelated speaker or headphone) I will say the Borreson sounds the best by a mile. Not saying the WT sound ba...
Revel F228be Heard the Revel Salon 2. Really good but kinda boring if that makes any sense just like my Pioneer (tad) S-1ex were. I hear they are a bitch to drive but I heard them on some big expensive monoblocks if I remember correctly. The new 228be are supp...
Is it possible for a high end manufacturer to overprice their goods? @mihorn , ” The only Hi-end audio company is the Wavetouch audio. Everything else are Hi-Fi. They all are simply unlistenable to me. I watched few 2023 Axpona videos and my ears are in serious pain. My ears are much better after I listen WTPC vid...
Starting from scratch and say $5000 I think you want a sit and forget option. I’ll say again the Lyngdorf Integrated. Let me know and I’ll personal message you a guy that I’m pretty sure will give you 20% off. It’s really a get off the merry go round piece. Makes any damn speakers s...
Speakers sounding dull? MUST READ! The truth about speaker design! Kenjit you are far from a genius! Show some sack boy and let’s hear your solutions?? Custom tuning blah blah blah. Active speakers with dsp dummy if that’s your thing…. Or invent something better.
Elementary Question on Shortening Speaker Wire Soldered or not you will get sound assuming everything is working.
Starting from scratch and say $5000 If want try something totally different pick up a Lyngdorf 2170 or the bigger one. For the right speakers the room correction is a game changer. Without the room correction on it sounds basically like all other class d I’ve heard. Un involving bor...
Did the Old Receivers Sound Good? Ohh and I leave it one all the time as I read the current inrush is the worst thing for old caps. Not sure if that’s the right thing to do or not. Conflicting opinions on that. |
