Anyone know the lore crossover frequency versus zu omem?
Mini Monitors under $500 used
Triangle Titus would be a slam dunk. These cross over fairly high at about 5khz compared to many monitors and have fantastic coherency in addition to all the traits you seek in spades. Perfect for a smaller room.
Amp and speaker matching.
It'll work and might sound decent but not an optimal match. Getting optimal amp/speaker match is essential to get the best objective results.

I suspect in general that hi res format potential, relevant or not, is ahead of the technology needed to execute accurately and correctly. Hi res is still early on the tech maturity scale. It will get better over time for sure but for now i am ver...

Is anyone thinking about building Walsh drivers?
Hi Dale.I'd much rather spend my time listening to Walsh speakers than building them.Your speakers are on my short list of designs I have not heard that I would most like to.Right now I am happy with what I have but always looking to explore new o...

"By the way, if you listen to rock concert music, nothing beats big boxes with high efficiency 15 or 18 inch drivers, for the simple reason that these are exactly what you hear at the concert. Horn mids and tweeters also. IMHO, horrible, but accur...

Zu Omen or Tekton Lore
The Tektons sound like an excellent value and a great option in the right room.Stereophile did a review of some larger Zus that I found interesting. They liked the sound and performance but the measurements were found somewhat lacking. That does n...

"However, for those whose first-priority is realism, seeking to combine the fore-mentioned attributes with truly realistic tone, the choice seems to be limited to relatively scarce systems with large mid-woofers (dynamism is another benefit that, ...
